Spring Formal

Jeanne and Jessica attended the Homeschool Spring Formal this year with their cousins Christine, Michelle, Annette and Elizabeth and their friends Anna and Adriane.  They spent the afternoon getting ready at the Billeauds and then went to dinner at Prejeans. While at Prejeans they met two ladies who were missing their grandaughters proms so the girls took a picture with them.  On the way to the dance in Richard they stopped at the DQ in Rayne for a little dessert.  I think they all had a great time.

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prom Night 2010

Tonight Jeanne was Greg Salts date for his Lafayette High Senior Prom. Jeanne and Greg have been friends for years and generally have a great time together. I think they made precious couple.

Is it just me or does the leather jacket, camo mud boots, Phelps T-shirt really go together?  Jeanne’s get up of boys athletic shorts, uggs, and sweatshirt is equally appalling to me.  He did not leave the house dressed like this.  She probably would.  Woe is me!

Time Flies When You’re Having Fun

Sunday was Jeanne’s 18th birthday she celebrated the night before with friends and family by first catching a movie then “going out”. 

Sunday morning after Mass we had a few friends and family over for a breakfast in her honor.

 

On the  menu was crispy bacon, hash browns, fresh fruit w/yogurt dip, scrambled eggs and hot buttered fluffy biscuits with fig preserves and  fresh squeezed mimosas (thanks Daddy).

Later that afternoon she met 15 or so friends for ice cream at Borden’s.

Trick or Treating with the Billeauds

We went Trick or Treating with Bruce and Jeanine’s kids this year.  We went to the Lexington Heights subdivision. It’s a beatuiful subdivsion built in an old pecan grove.  I think everyone had a great time.  Mark sorry you were sick. 

 

Michelle is a  ………. Well I really don’t know what she was besides fun.

The couple at this house do it up right.  They have a talking Mr. Pumpkin who talks to the kids and tells really corny Halloween jokes.  They serve hotdogs, chili, punch and sweets.  What a great way to end our trick or treat adventure.
