TENNESSEE TRAIL MIX

Last weekend Andrew, Jeanne and Jessica went to a swim meet in Memphis, TN. Andrew and his friend Greg decided to make some trail mix for the trip. It turned out not to be your conventional trail mix. I’m just glad I wasn’t on the bus with the 20 or so teenagers who consumed this stuff. They had a great time at the meet. Andrew really hasn’t trained in months and swam well in the meet. He even won an event.

Jo Jo’s Last Day of Swimming Lessons

Today was Joanna’s last day of Swimming Lessons.  COLA (City of Lafayette Aquatics) is now using the SwimAmerica method of teaching kids to swim.  This month on Tuesdays and Thursdays  she has been taking lessons and Jeanne has been an instructor in the same sessions.  Joanna learned alot and is on her way to becoming another one of those fast Miller swimmers.  Here are a few pictures I took of her today.    Her instructors were Coach Sarah and Ms. Sherry.  Thanks ladies you made this a great experience for our girl. pictures 020-017 pictures 021-018 pictures 022-019 pictures 023-020 pictures 005-004

COLA HALLOWEEN PARTY

Last night our swim team had their Halloween Party.  Aimee’s group watched Monsters vs Aliens while in the pool.  Jacob’s group came in costume watched the It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown on the pool deck.  After the movie Jake’s group went outside to do their dry land exercises.  Jo Jo dressed up for the party too.   Thanks Uncle Danny for the use of the big blowup screen.  It was a great hit.
