What a way to spend Father's Day

Today Jake got a taste of that wonderful summertime chore "Cuttin the grass". While Normand worked on the riding mower Jake pushed a few rounds with the push mower. He was excited to do the job but soon realized what a tough job it is.

Memorial Day

Yesterday before heading out to Coteau for BBQ and swimming at Momma and Daddy's we stopped at Veterans Park here in Lafayette. Here are a few pics of the kids.

Hello is anyone still there

I've got the use of a computer for a little while so I have decided to make a little post. Our swim season is over we have just been staying at home relaxing and taking care of some things around the house.
Jess took some time to play with the little ones. Just like old times

Sweet Summertime is definitely here. I canned 10 quarts of sweet corn yesterday with the help of my wonderful husband. The corn is from the garden of my sweeet sis Katy and her hubby David. Thanks guys we'll looking forward to lots of suppers with this yummmy summertime taste.
