Spring Formal

Jeanne and Jessica attended the Homeschool Spring Formal this year with their cousins Christine, Michelle, Annette and Elizabeth and their friends Anna and Adriane.  They spent the afternoon getting ready at the Billeauds and then went to dinner at Prejeans. While at Prejeans they met two ladies who were missing their grandaughters proms so the girls took a picture with them.  On the way to the dance in Richard they stopped at the DQ in Rayne for a little dessert.  I think they all had a great time.

While at the festival Joanna made a tambourine out of paper plates and mardi gras beads.  Later in the afternoon she put it to good use while listening to a band from Morocco.  The girl sure likes to move it, move it.

Festival International de Louisiane

On the last Sunday of April Normand and I took the 5 youngest kids for an afternoon downtown to listen to the music and just enjoy being outside.

On the grounds of Cathedral Carmel we listened to a couple of groups.  This group was from somewhere in Africa.

Tummy Time With Charles

Over Easter vacation Audrey spent a little time visiting with Charles Lawson our great-nephew.

Yard Work

A few weeks ago Normand finished raking up the oak leaves in front of the house and he had a little help from Joanna. Joanna had a lots of fun getting wheel barrel rides to and from the compost pile.

Easter Babies

The Armentor family is growing by leaps and bounds.



First came Louis Gaspard III last November (he goes by Trey). Trey is Donald's first grandchild and the apple of his Paw Paw's eye.


Next came Miss Audrey Jane Miller in January. We may have to put her on a diet. Just look at those chunky cheeks.


Jude and Brandi were blessed with Miss Olivia Claire who showed up a couple weeks early in March. She is the sweetest baby with a lovely disposition.

Audrey and Trey have a little tummy time together. Trey is this close to crawling. Lauren is going to have lots of fun with a mobile baby.

Easter at the Armentor's

We spent Easter Sunday at Momma and Daddy's with the usual suspects and a few extras. In the afternoon the kids put on a circus with the help of Maw Maw and Co.
