Over at Infarrantly Creative they are having a Roadkill Rescue Party. So I'm thinkin I want to party too.
A few years back on a dumpster diving run my kids and I found this queensize footboard and just couldn't pass it up. Soo into the van it went. I just knew I would find some fabulous project for it. Well a couple of months go by and I'm at my Mom's house walking around the yard with her enjoying all the flowers when I spy with my little eye this headboard. She and my dad had found it on the side of road. Like mother like daughter. Soo this lil puppy went into my van and magically my talented husband turned it into this lovely bench for our patio. It was dark brown stained after a coat of crackle medium and off white paint. Voila
#1 the fact that you have such a handy man is blessing from above #2 you are my hero for raising 6 kids. Did I count right? That is a blessing #3 I WANT IT! It is amazing...someday I will try to do that. #4 thanks for linking up. Stop by anytime.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's really unique! Great job!
ReplyDeleteIt is fabulous! The worn finish and shape are unusual and suspect it inspires many inquiries as to where you got it!
