Black and Gold Birthday Tablescape

Thursday is Andrew’s 20th birthday so while I was in a black and gold mood I decided to see if I could come up with a black and gold tablescape. It turns out I could.

Andrew was born on Superbowl Sunday 1990 and he has always been a Saints fan. It looks like he will be in Miami on the day of the game gettin the NFL experience. He won’t be going to the game but will be going to some of the festivities leading up to it.

Time Flies When You’re Having Fun

Sunday was Jeanne’s 18th birthday she celebrated the night before with friends and family by first catching a movie then “going out”. 

Sunday morning after Mass we had a few friends and family over for a breakfast in her honor.

 

On the  menu was crispy bacon, hash browns, fresh fruit w/yogurt dip, scrambled eggs and hot buttered fluffy biscuits with fig preserves and  fresh squeezed mimosas (thanks Daddy).

Later that afternoon she met 15 or so friends for ice cream at Borden’s.

Thanksgiving

This year Thanksgiving and my birthday just so happened to fall on the same day.  It was a beautiful clear day and I enjoyed it surrounded by my fabulous family and was treated to a delicious meal and a sweet birthday party and lots of gifts.   Thank You to everyone who made my day so special.

On the menu on Turkey Day 2 baked turkeys, baked ham, merliton and shrimp in a cream sauce, cauliflower in a cheese sauce, rice and turkey gravy, brocolli cornbread, short rib dressing, divine sweet potatos, chicken and cornbread dressing, garlic french bread, brownies, choc chip cookies, sugar cookies w/candied fruit, and  German chocolate cake.   Oh my gosh it was all sooooo good.

Jessica’s Birthday

Last month for her 15th birthday Jessica had a few friends over for a sleepover and homemade pizza party.

Joanna is 4
