This Christmas Joanna got an American Girl doll and as you can see she was very excited. Maw Maw and Paw Paw made her a canopy bed for her doll. It's beautiful. Thanks Maw Maw and Paw Paw.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we followed our tradition and had dinner, the nativity procession, blessing of the tree and singing of Christmas carols with Normand's family at Johnny and Jen's house.

Joanna as the youngest grandchild had the honor again this year of carrying the Infant Jesus to the creche.

Christmas Tree

This year on the second Sunday of Advent we went Christmas Tree shopping. After a couple of attempts we found the perfect tree at the tree lot next to Prejeans.

Christmas Breakfast

After finishing with our gifts we sat down for a delicious breakfast of Christmas breakfast casserole, fresh fruit salad, banana bread and Martinellis apple cider. We were joined by  Angie Dunphy, her brother Pat.

My children love our tradition of always having Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider for holiday breakfast.  Normand’s parents always had it for the kids every holiday meal.  It always makes us think of them on the holidays.  I wish they were still here.
